Joseph Paul, and his best friend Bitsy, accidentally find a portal gate to another habitable realm while visiting Egypt. Having learned about Bastet, the cat goddess, and Seth Tankh, a minor pharaoh, they discover the need to return an antiquity to its rightful place in time; but time is running out. Can they catch the elusive cat in time to save it?
